OUR LOVE STORY 

Who would’ve known liking a simple comment on your page would lead to our happily ever after. 

 

The beginning of October 2019 my (Jocelyn) friend convinced me to join a dating site so I could find a “date” for my birthday, after going back and forth we agreed I would give it ONE WEEK and then be done hearing about joining dating sites. After two days I was not hopeful as all the guys were boring or common and didn’t strike my interest AT ALL. I got off the site until the final day of my week challenge and found your profile. It wasn’t your pictures or bio that caught my attention but your answer to one of the profile questions: “who is the most important person in your life”, Your answer was “my 11 year old daughter”. 

 

Since I too had an 11 year old, this sparked my interest enough for me to “like” the answer, which I later found out sent an alert to you to check out my profile. Minutes later we “matched”. From day one our conversations went on for hours as we compared notes on the challenges of raising preteens. We felt like we knew each other for years and what started on a dating site moved to text and then phone conversations. Within a week or so we met up and something in me immediately reacted to something in you and the rest is history.  

 

Love is patient and love is kind…. The beginning of a Bible verse that has greatly shaped our relationship. By putting God first and allowing him to lead us, our love has grown into the greatest love story and our best answered prayer.
