My name is Rafeal Henderson, and I am the lead planner and designer for Cherished Moments Planning, Design, & Coordination.

We are a Southern California-based Wedding Planning company that provides a complete wedding planning experience for busy professionals. I absolutely love weddings and strive to create an unforgettable, stress-free wedding experience for my brides. The best way to do that is by removing the heavy lifting.

Our Process


 Complimentary one-hour consultation to discuss wedding details, wedding vision, our services, and answer any questions that you may have. In-person or Virtual.


After the consultation and signing of the contract, we will wrap up all wedding details, and meet at venue for a walk-through. We provide a Personal Vendor Referral List according to your needs.


We will finalize the details, conduct a wedding rehearsal, and produce a minute-by-minute timeline of the wedding day

The days of traditional wedding planning are over. Forget what you know about day-of coordination, because we have gone the extra mile to ensure you have a seamless planning process leading up to the day of your wedding. If you are seeking peace of mind on the day of your wedding and throughout your planning process, you can rest assured that this is all possible with our event management team. Our team will not only step in 8 weeks to 2 weeks prior to the wedding which ever works best for you – to give you the break you need – but will also manage your wedding planning process from the time you book us. As a bonus, we will provide you with our vendor list. 


How do we provide five-star service?

We provide a wide range of services at your fingertips to accommodate all of your needs on your special day. From our wedding planning management portal that gives you full access, to overseeing emails between you and your vendor team, to providing you with a list of professional vendors – not to mention we provide you with TWO wedding managers. Our team will execute the flow of the day from timelines, to rehearsal, to check-in, to ceremony, to the last dance, and so much more! Our team of professionals will ensure that our vendors will adhere to the call times and deliveries, so that all the i’s are dotted, and all t’s are crossed for a day of seamless bliss which starts with the wedding planning process.






• Review of all the vendor contracts signed and executed by Client.

• Review of and proof of BEO (Banquet Event Order) provided by Catering Manager.

• Contacting of Service Providers for arrival and end times, including strike time.

• Communication of venue’s policies and procedures for unloading, set-up, and tear-down.

• Confirmation of all vendor orders and quantities on rental items.

• Distribution of Client-approved timeline to all vendors at least one week before wedding date.

• Assistance to officiant and orchestration of ceremony rehearsal with bridal party and family.

• Communication with musicians on ceremony song selections and cueing wedding party for processional.

• Communication and management of staff regarding set-ups and compliance of floor plans.

• Attendance at sound check with band musicians/DJ and review of formalities and song selections.

• Direction of ushers with seating and program distribution.

• Assistance with set up of seating cards, menus, table numbers, favors, sign-in guest book, etc.

• Collaboration with band musicians/DJ to establish timing for grand entrance, first dance, cake cutting, bouquet and garter toss, and last dance.

• Providing client with marriage license information.

• Preparation and handling of final payments and gratuities to vendors.

We provide an all-in one client management portal from the day we are hired. Our planning team designs it specifically to your wedding to help you stay on track. We are always thinking of ways to make our clients’ job easier, so we created a seamless

planning process for you from beginning to end. That begins with our wedding planning management portal. Imagine planning your

wedding with ease and weeks prior to your wedding a team of professionals remove all the heavy lifting.

How to Get Started

Due to COVID-19, we offer virtual consultations and meetings. You will then be provided with an e-mail with your contract, payment plan, and an line item list of all services offered. 

Once the contract is signed and initial payment is rendered, you will receive an email within 1-2 weeks with your custom bridal management portal and a scheduled welcome call to discuss next steps.

Payment Schedule

35% of all packages must be paid to secure your date. The remaining balance of  65% is split into 3 payments.
